Abrasion Resistant Insertion Tube

The insertion tube is the most important part of any remote visual inspection instrument. It carries out the fundamental task of entering the inspection area and regularly negotiating tight spaces with rough, abrasive surfaces. The newest Olympus IPLEX design, the IPLEX FX insertion tube, has improved fray resistance and crush protection.

True Portability — Compact, Lightweight, Battery-powered

An integrated lithium-ion battery powers the IPLEX FX, giving it a runtime of more than two hours. Portable operation is made possible by the IPLEX FX’s small size; you can wear the lightweight system on your body or set it on a surface and let the rubber, non-slip corners hold it in place while you perform your checks.

Temperature Resistance

Inspections can begin sooner since you won’t have to wait as long for the region to cool down because the IPLEX FX scope units can withstand being inserted in situations with higher temperatures, up to 100° C (212° F). In order to avoid overheating, a temperature sensor also offers a two-stage visual warning.

Daylight-view High Resolution LCD Monitor

The new 6.5-inch daylight-view LCD display, the smallest screen size advised for precise and dependable fine detail observation, allows for clear viewing in direct sunshine. When working outside, color reproduction and contrast are preserved to guarantee that inspections are not jeopardized. The LCD and the IPLEX FX system have similar levels of environmental resistance.
