• The patented Thru-Coat method uses a “single backwall echo” to measure and show the thickness of the metal component and its coating.
• The material velocity is adjusted for variations in material temperature via the Temperature Compensation function.
• The steel’s thickness and oxide/scale accumulation are measured and shown using the optional Oxide/Scale function.
• The average or minimum of multiple consecutive thickness measurements is saved in the Average/Min mode.
