The Olympus EPOCH 6LT Ultrasonic Flaw Detector’s one-hand grip and small weight of 1.95 pounds (890g) make it a perfect one-hand operable flaw checking tool for rope access applications.
The EPOCH 6LT can be operated with the free hand. Just attach the instrument to your leg or harness and use the side strap to hold it while climbing, switching to the alternate portrait perspective if needed.
A-scans can be read in any light because to the bright, crisp screen, and the button layout is made as simple as possible. The EPOCH 6LT units from Olympus are drop tested and designed to comply with IP65/67 standards.
